Biography

Prof. Karpinets has over 39 years of clinical and academic experience in maxillofacial surgery. She is currently a Professor at the Department of Surgical Dentistry and a practicing maxillofacial surgeon at the Regional Clinical Hospital.

Her main fields of expertise include:

•              Orthognathic surgery

•              Periodontal surgery

•              Dental implantology

She defended her doctoral thesis on dental implantation in patients with generalized periodontitis.

Prof. Karpinets is the author of more than 150 national publications, 10 papers indexed in Scopus, and numerous conference abstracts. She also holds 15 patents and has presented lectures and reports at multiple international scientific congresses.

Diagnosis and management of skeletal anomalies in orthodontics

· Interdisciplinary approaches combining orthodontics and orthognathic surgery

· Long-term stability and relapse prevention in orthodontic treatment

· Psychological and aesthetic dimensions of patient-centered care

 · Clinical decision-making and treatment planning in complex cases
