Biography

Dr. Guoqiang Yu is the Jack and Linda Gill Eminent Professor at the University of Kentucky, with joint appointments in Biomedical Engineering and Pediatrics. An expert in biophotonics, he develops and translates advanced optical spectroscopic and imaging technologies for clinical applications. He leads a multidisciplinary team of trainees and research faculty dedicated to advancing noninvasive optical imaging for the diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring of cerebral diseases.
